I offer virtual sessions Tuesday to Friday during the day with some evening availability. I offer in person daytime sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

What is the cost of service? Do you offer sliding scale rates?

The cost of service is $130 for 1 hour of individual psychotherapy.

I am not currently offering sliding scale rates.

I accept payment by e-transfer due before or at the conclusion of each session.

I provide detailed receipts via email for you to submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement, should you have it.

Are your services covered by OHIP or insurance?

My services are not covered by OHIP but most insurance plans will cover all or a portion of the cost. Check that your insurance plan lists Social Work as a covered benefit.

How long does therapy take?

That answer depends on you and your personal goals. I offer short-term, long-term or ongoing service based on your situation and needs. I find therapeutic support to be most effective when occurring on a regular basis (i.e. weekly or bi-weekly).

Each session lasts for 1 hour.

I don't think I have experiences of trauma or abuse, can you still help me?

Yes, although my specialization is in trauma and abuse, I do work with people over a variety of issues and concerns. I have broad mental health training focused on emotions, thoughts, behaviours and interpersonal relationships, among others. Please contact me to discuss your situation and goals for therapy.

Do you offer consultations?

Yes, I provide one free 20-minute phone consultation prior to beginning service to help determine if we are a good fit to work together. Please contact me to schedule a consultation.
